Ashudumps.info and its projects (like Dino Archive) are a small personal hobby site. The short version: no ads, signing in is optional, and if you do sign in we keep your name and email, and never sell them.
Everything here works without signing in. Signing in with Google is optional, and the sign-in itself happens on Google's side. Before you sign in, we ask you to tick a box to say you agree to this policy.
We do not get your Google password, your contacts or anything else in your Google account.
To put your name on the leaderboards, to keep your Wild India lists in step across devices, and to understand who uses the site and how it is growing, so we know what to build next.
We may also, now and then, email you about the site, such as a new project or a change to this policy. If you do not want these emails, reply to any of them or email ashutoshkumar13work@gmail.com and we will stop.
Only the two people who run this site, Ashutosh and Akash. Your name and scores are public on the leaderboards; your email is not shown anywhere. The records are stored with Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. We do not share them with anyone else.
We keep it while you use the site. If you have not visited for 3 years, we delete it. You can also ask us to delete it sooner.
Email ashutoshkumar13work@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with, and we will delete your record, every leaderboard score and your Wild India lists within 30 days. We only act on a request sent from that address, so nobody can delete someone else's data. Email the same address if you want to see or correct what we hold.
A cookie keeps you signed in on this browser for 30 days. Signing out clears it.
Two tools count visits here, and they work very differently.
Google Analytics counts visits: which pages people open, how far down they get and which links they use. The data goes to Google.
Microsoft Clarity shows us how the pages are used: where people tap, how far they scroll, and short replays of visits, so we can spot a button nobody finds or a game screen where people get stuck. It hides what you type into text boxes. The data goes to Microsoft. More at privacy.microsoft.com.
Both set cookies. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland we ask you first, and both stay off unless you say yes. Everywhere else they load by default, which is the honest version of what most sites do without mentioning it.
When you lock in a single-number guess in Ballparky, the game sends one thing to our server: how far your guess was from the answer, as one of 21 steps. It does not send your name, your email or the number you typed. We add it to a count for that question, so the game can show where other players' guesses landed.
To count each visitor once per question per day, the server also keeps a short code made from your IP address, the question and a secret value. The code cannot be turned back into your IP address, and the IP address itself is not stored. Old codes are deleted regularly.
Ballparky games are scored on our server. While you play, it keeps the game: the questions, your guesses, your times and your points. Games are deleted a day after they start.
If you are signed in when a timed mixed game ends, we also keep the name on your account with your best score on the Ballparky leaderboard, and your last 10 games, so we can check scores that look unusual. A score that looks unusual is held for a check before it goes on the board, and you see the result the next time you play.
For a 1 vs 1 game, the server keeps the name each player types and both results. The room is deleted a day after it was made. If you ask us to delete your data, your Ballparky scores and games are deleted too.
To work, these pages load a few things from other companies: web fonts from Google Fonts, dinosaur photos from Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons, the sign-in button from Google (only when you tap Sign in), analytics from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare. When your browser loads these, those services may receive basic technical information such as your IP address, simply as part of delivering the content. Each runs under its own privacy policy.
Buttons such as Instagram and Chai4Me take you to other websites. Once you leave this site, those sites have their own privacy policies.
This site is family-friendly and everything on it works without signing in. If you are under 18, please only sign in with a parent's permission. If a parent asks us to remove a child's account, email us and we will delete it.
